IGIGI General Store does not operate as a breaking-news outlet and does not manufacture urgency around older material. The home page starts with the latest stories in the collection, while category and sitemap pages provide direct routes through the rest of the archive. Each article is presented as a complete editorial work, without donor-site menus, expired promotions or unrelated advertising blocks.
How the archive is maintained
Every restored article is checked for a coherent title, a substantial body, readable formatting and working local media. Broken image references, navigation fragments and publication-platform chrome are removed. Images retained with an article are stored locally so the page does not depend on an unrelated third-party host. Short fragments and pages that cannot stand on their own are not published as articles.
Editing is deliberately conservative. We may fix a malformed character, remove an obsolete interface label or add a descriptive caption, but we do not silently rewrite the argument of an archived essay.
