It is worth noting however that you cannot get this amazing range and high top speed at the same time. The Metroboard Slim electric skateboard appears last on our list but that does not mean that customers should neglect it. Made out of a sturdy 40 inch longboard deck complete with Caliber II reverse kingpin trucks, the Metroboard Slim electric skateboard is a carving machine.
The Metroboard Slim electric skateboard has a top range of 20 miles which is further than any of the other electric skateboards that we have reviewed so far. It makes up for this in the weight of the board though with a carrying weight of 17lbs. With a range of 20 miles though, who needs to carry this board?

To control the Metroboard slim electric skateboard, the manufacturer custom designed an ergonomic controller which looks remarkably similar to the Wii Nunchuck. With separate buttons for acceleration and braking, it makes controlling the board easy to learn and apply.
One factor that differentiates the Metroboard electric skateboard from its competitors is the addition of headlights on the front and back of the board. These headlights provide enough illumination to allow the board to be driven at night.
